Mario vs Sonic (Part 1)

The Battle Of The Video Games

Some people say all started from the most famous character from Nintendo, Mario, and the most famous character from Sega, Sonic. Both Games are based on a type of game called "Platform" whereby the player has to go through many different stages and get to the end while stopping on enemies, and both of these game characters from the two different companies have the exact same concept, just different characters.

Both of these games "Super Mario" and "Sonic the Hedgehog" both have a wide range of characters that have a certain personality and is different from each other and they have their significant color,

Both of these franchises have a main antagonist,

For the "Super Mario" Franchise that certain character is "Bowser" who is known to be "The Sorcerer King" and also "King of Koopa" who is based of a turtle and roams the Mushroom Kingdom and is always on the go to kidnap Princess Peach (Mario's Lover) for his plan of Domination :

For the "Sonic the Hedgehog" franchise, that certain character is "Dr. Eggman/Robotnik" is a character who is a mad scientist with and IQ of 300, he plans to conquer the whole world and build his Eggman Empire which is why his character's body is in a shape of an egg.

From Just the Villains alone, who do you think is the better franchise with the better plot to escape and defeat the antagonist ?
